Dr. Kamel graduated from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt in 1996 with his doctor of medicine degree. He moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2001. He did all of his medical training at the Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Kamel did a one year Internship and a three year Residency in Internal Medicine. He completed a fourth year of Residency after being named Chief Resident. He continued his training with a three year Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the same hospital.

In 2008, Dr. Kamel moved to the Canton area to join Gastroenterology and Hepatology Specialists, Inc. in the practice of Gastroenterology. His specialty interest includes liver and pancreas disease. Dr. Kamel is on staff at both Aultman Hospital and Mercy Medical Center of Canton. He is a participating Medicare and Medicaid provider and is contracted with most commercial insurance carriers.

Dr. Kamel resides in Canton.
